Public Gathering at Katoomba May 2009

In May 2009, I went to a Public Gathering at the Carrington Hotel, Katoomba, which was called to discuss the 200th Anniversary of the Crossing of the Blue Mountains in 2013. Holding Our Tongues is an ongoing ABC Radio National Hindsight web project about the revival of Aboriginal languages. It also features a radio program on the revival of three Aboriginal languages: Dharug of Sydney, Kaurna of the Adelaide Plains and Awarburkarl of the Newcastle region.
